Maness Veterinary Services welcomes you to our website!

Cat and dogManess Veterinary Services in Newcastle, Oklahoma is a full service animal hospital with advanced orthopedic surgical experience. Our primary focus is on companion animals as well as exotics including alpacas. Dr. Patti S. Maness has owned and practiced at large veterinary facilities with heavy surgery schedules over the last 40 years. She enjoys and is very experienced in advanced trauma, critical care procedures, and surgeries. Orthopedic procedures such as bone plating, external fixators, and knee (stifle) corrections including cruciate tears are routinely performed. She is AO ASIF trained.

We provide referral services and second opinions for many other veterinary clinics in Oklahoma and Texas. Most of the referrals are for surgical cases, or ultrasound studies. Our referral cases are treated or scheduled for surgery, then referred back to their family veterinarian for follow up and routine care.  Ultrasound studies, including echocardiograms, are also offered. Ultrasound guided biopsies are available. Dr. Maness has been certified by IVUSS (international Veterinary Ultrasound Society).

It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care within our clients' needs and budget. Our services and facilities are designed around our surgery suite which is equipped with advanced surgical monitors such as ECGs, blood pressures, and blood oxygen levels.  Warming units to support longer anesthetic procedures and digital x-ray capabilities within the surgical suite help create an efficient, safe environment for your pet's procedure. We also provide the same standard of surgical expertise toward more routine procedures such as spays and neuters.

Dr. Maness can provide local non-veterinary-referral clients with complete pet care such as routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.
We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and we are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.
